Our Family Blog about our Little M & M's.

I decided that the best way to keep friends and family updated about our children, would be to write a blog. With three kids, I tend to get a little busy, but I will try my best to keep my readers as up-to-date as possible with what is going on with everyone.

The oldest M and M is Matthew. He is 10, (11 years on November 7th). He is currently in the 5th grade, and playing soccer. Matthew is very athletic! He is by the far the fastest kid on his team and is playing center mid- or stopper (just like his Mama). This year the kids are actually "playing" real soccer, and not just bunch ball or kicking it uncontrollably. As a spectator, I am enjoying the games. Last Saturday, Matthew had 2 goals! He was of course bribed by his Auntie Brittany, promising him a Slurpee if he got a goal. So, our little super star decided to score 2 and get the biggest Slurpee he could get. Besides school and sports, Matthew has been a big help around the house. His chores have increased, and he is great at vacuuming and knows how to make a great bowl of macaroni and cheese.

The Next M and M is Maddison, our little peanut. She is 2, (July 7th) and is definitely keeping us busy. Maddison is extremely loving and creative. She loves to play with her kitchen set and her many baby dolls. Majority of the time she is either running around the house in only a diaper, even though I have gotten her dressed and did her hair, with her ponytail pulled out and hair in her face. If she is wearing clothes, she prefers her dress up clothes, and her play heels, or a dress. Her favorite color is pink! Maddison Loves to have her nails and toes painted pink, of course, and likes to put on chap stick (lipstick). Can you say ALL GIRL! I love to watch her play, sing songs to herself, color or just about do anything. Being 2, she is strong willed, and independent, and definitely a Daddy's girl. Although she imitates Mommy and is by her side nearly all day, as soon as Daddy walks in the door from work, I am chop liver. I know u=it melts Trevor's heart when he walks in the door and he hears " DADDY!". Maddison, although a very sweet little girl, is by far a DIVA. She screams and is now starting to hit when she does not get her way. (we are working on this no hitting thing). She hates to be confined in her car seat, unless she is watching a show in the car, and bed time every night is a battle. She also is very smothering, i mean mothering to her little brother. He barely gets to sleep in peace because she is constantly tapping his head and kissing him telling him to wake up.

That brings us to Our littlest M and M, Mason (August 5th). He is almost 2 months old and time is going by so fast. He is such an EASY baby. He was born 7 lbs. 13 oz. 19 inches long and just like his sister, he was born with a whole head of hair. Lately, he has been sleeping 3-4 hours during the night and hardly ever cries. He is also a very good eater. He currently weighs around 11 pounds. When looking at him, you know he never misses a meal. During the day, he will stay awake for 1-2 hour spans and is always a happy baby. Just last week he started to smile ( I have yet to get a smile on camera). For awhile, Maddison was jealous and loving to her brother, but now she is finally calming down. I have a feeling Mason may be an advance walker or crawler. He is going to have to always be on the move so his sister does not bother him.

We feel so blessed to have 3 amazing children. It is so fun to watch the dynamics of our little family and how the children either love on each other, or are instigating something. I am sure Mason will learn what to do and not to do with his older siblings paving the way.
This is a picture of our little family the day Mason was born.

Our First Vacation with the 5 of us. We went to the cabin in Tahoe (Near Kings Beach) . Mason was 2 weeks old.
